There is also an Academy Facility with a full-size indoor football pitch, an outdoor football pitch built to the specifications of Old Trafford and 11 changing rooms. 

Outside consists of 14 soccer pitches varying in size: 12 grass pitches (with drainage, irrigation sprinklers, under-soil heating and floodlights), one full-size outdoor floodlit and heated AstroTurf all-weather pitch, one full-size indoor floodlit and heated AstroTurf artificial pitch and a special goalkeeper training area. 

The club previously trained at The Cliff Training Ground from the late 1950’s all the way through to 1999, with an academy producing talent such as Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and the infamous ‘Class of 92’.
